Intensely black in color, this wine shows only a sliver of a magenta meniscus. Boldly aromatic, this bottling smells of aged steak, black currant, blackberry and cumin. On the palate, it initially feels chiseled like a body builder. Then quickly, its components come together like a ballerina, dancing through to the lingering finish. Pillowy yet structured tannins and vibrant yet well-blended acidity give this wine lift and the ability to age. Enjoy through 2020.
