This wine has a serious appearance in its impenetrable black color with brick hue influences. The developed nose shows smoke, old leather and tobacco leaf notes as well as iodine and grilled pheasant. The first sip adds complexity, with lavender, garrigue, bay leaf, soy and licorice. Full-bodied and medium-plus in weight, this wine has just the right structure to support it. The dense, lightly chewy tannins, nervous acidity and generous concentration combine to make this an ageworthy wine enjoy through 2017.
