This wine has an opaque color, with a vibrant magenta rim. Youthful on the nose, it carries lots of baking spice influence. On the palate, this wine initially shows blackberry and black cherry cobbler followed by a diversity of flavors including creosote, cola and loganberry. Since the tannins are vaguely drying, this wine is better paired with food rather than enjoyed alone. The acidity is integrated yet refreshing. Because of the medium-minus finish and decent concentration, this wine still needs time to fully integrate. Drink now through 2016.
