Morello cherry-colored with a gleaming core, this wine smells like Craisins, red cherries, blueberries and damp earth. No obvious oak flavors come through to compete with the fruit, but the palate is slightly green in its fruit profile. The attack conveys an immediate sensation of fine-grained tannins and mouthwatering acidity that then fills in the midpalate with a whisper of glycerol before a moderate finish. Drink 2014 through 2017.
