This wine’s pale gold color hints at its evolution, and its nose confirms it is a few years out of vintage with its lightly dusty, walnut-pith character. The attack is a surprise with a significant shot of residual sugar and big dose of an unpleasant, rubbery-plastic smell. It is possible some bottles might be better than others. The palate is lightly visous, full bodied and judicious with its alcohol. Drink 2013–late 2014.
