This wine has a pronounced, near-opaque core with bright magenta rim. The bold nose flaunts fruit and oak. The palate is juicy, round and lively with its bustling acidity. The tannins are restrained but framing. Black cherries, plums, açai and forest floor characterize the flavors. The finish is a bit modest, but it’s a good by-the-glass pour or a “Tuesday night” kind of wine. Drink 2013–2015.
