This wine is a medium-deep scarlet color with Tuscan roof-tile-red streaking. The nose is moderately fragrant, with notes of exotic spice and soy. These fragrances are complimented by dried strawberries, roasted red plums and baked rhubarb. The alcohol is perceivable but balanced by the full body, brisk tannins and juicy acidity. An old-school style, with a medium-length finish, that merits a place at the table.
