Opaque core with black undertones and bright mulberry rim. Though restrained, the nose shows chocolate notes suggestive of oak aging. On the palate, the fruit is front-loaded with black cherries, black plums and blueberries. Full-bodied with generous but not excessive alcohol, this wine is framed by silky tannins and moderate acidity. The finish lingers, suggesting the wine can age well through 2015 with some evolution to benefit.
