This wine is a deep scarlet color with a hazy core. The nose is exuberant with youthful fruit aromas of blueberry, acai and black currant. The palate adds a layer of complexity with forest floor, soy and grilled meat. Broad-grained tannins and refreshing acidity create nice tension on the palate and guide the wine to a medium-length finish. Exotic and enticing, this wine is best appreciated with food early on, now to 2016, though it should hold longer.
