There is sparkling wine, and then there is this jewel. Brilliant gold in color, the wine oozes complexity at every corner of its being, beginning with welcoming aromas of golden apple, crème brûlée, brioche and orange marmalade. The palate is firm and deliberate, with honeyed orchard fruit taking center stage and occupying the lion’s share of the focus. Delicious if you can find a bottle.
