Exceedingly ripe with fleshiness on the palate, and robust notes of roasted red plums, nutmeg, dried meat, exotic and savory spices. Big, bold and broad tannins abound, with some age evident on the palate given the tobacco leaf and dry-aged steak flavors. Full bodied, with balanced alcohol and a lengthy finish. Lightly tugging tannins and bright acidity linger on the finish. Drink now–2017.
