Deep, vibrant and opaque in color, this wine offers big visual appeal. The body is supercharged with generous and slightly warm alcohol, a meaty body and loads of midpalate fruit. Though the tannins are broad and a bit brusque, the solid core of fruit carries the wine. The lingering finish shows there is good provenance of fruit and adept winemaking. Drink now–2016.
