The first signs of age are coming through on the rim of the deep ruby core. The nose is open and still somewhat youthful, yet starting to turn savory. There is a delicate balance of fleshy fruit and aged characteristics that is quite appealing. Pleasantly drying tannins and medium acidity reflect the style, grape and region, and make for a typical table wine. The finish lingers, suggesting good fruit quality and concentration.
