In appearance, the wine is deep ruby with an almost-black, ruby core. On the nose, cedar, sandalwood, cassis and chocolate permeate the glass. The extraction of aromas on the nose match the palate, which, along with cassis, reveals black plum. Vanilla bean and pencil lead add another level of nuance . The tannins are firm, gritty and long. Hulk-like in power and size, this is a generous wine with an ever-lasting finish. Shelf for five to 10 years.
