Medium yellow in color, this is a serious wine. The citrus-driven palate is well concentrated in fruit and shows substantial leesy and nutty character, making the wine seem quite evolved for its age. The medium body seems heavier than it is given the modest acidity, so it’s the lightly tannic finish that reins in the wine. This is a rather forward expression for a Gavi di Gavi.
