The bouquet of this wine is deep and complex with notes of dried red fruits, ripe figs and grated nutmeg. Full-bodied with palate-filling density, the wine is well-framed by caressing tannins and medium acidity. A Barbaresco that squarely sits the fence between the old and new schools, showing well into its lingering finish. This wine showing at its peak now, but can hold a little longer drink now–2018.
