Limpid and bright yellow, this wine looks and smells exuberantly youthful. The aromas are grapy with yellow plum and anise notes. Faintly and pleasingly tannic on the finish, this is a wine for food and should match particularly well with sweeter shellfish dishes. With medium body, good fruit concentration, a flash of minerality and a modest finish, this is a very pleasing wine for near-term consumption, now through 2014.
