Bursting with tiny bubbles, this wine is pale yellow in color. It’s aromatic and floral but very simple on the nose. On the palate, yeasty tones create another flavor dimension that is pleasant yet surprising considering the heady aromas. Pears, cantaloupe and verbena create further flavor interest. There’s a faint, underlying foxiness to the wine that is mildly distracting. Drink now through mid-2014 and enjoy its youthfulness.
