Moderately deep yellow in color, this wine seems to have some bottle age given its appearance. Clean and pleasantly grapey and floral, the nose is reminiscent of SweeTARTS candies. The wine feels fairly light on the palate because its mid-size, yet crisply sparkling bubbles keep this medium-bodied wine refreshing. The finish is fairly quick, although some savory tarragon and rosemary notes briefly linger. Drink now through early 2014. Its modest concentration and initial signs of evolution suggest it won’t evolve much to benefit.
