Intensely magenta, this wine is broodingly black at its core. Big, juicy and very lightly muscled, this wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser. The mid-palate also sports a light creaminess that contrasts nicely with the wine’s buoyant acidity. It is ripe without being opulent. Blueberry, cherry, earth and wild game combine to form a multifaceted and slightly exotic array of flavors on the palate. Drink now through 2015, although it may hold longer.
