The black core and neon-like magenta rim show this wine is super youthful. The aromas follow accordingly, bursting with black fruits and zesty energy. This is a body-builder style wine, but a whiff of vanilla and cinnamon introduce a softer influence. The mouthfeel is big and round but neither plump nor viscous. The flavors are smartly concentrated and the finish lingers a bit. A fun wine to enjoy in its primacy, now through 2015.
