Minerals, cream, cardamom, pear and yellow tomato show on the nose of this lemon-pulp-colored wine. A surprising, if faint, spritz of carbon dioxide livens up the palate. The acidity is fresh, the weight is medium and the finish lingers. This is a moderately complex wine with very good oak integration and a creamy center palate, surely appealing to those looking for a Chardonnay alternative. Drink through late 2014.
