This wine is black with a fine fuchsia-brick rim. It’s rather stoic and unyielding on the nose with aromas of smoke, tar and black-plum skin. Slightly brusque and drying tannins square off the broad and weighty midpalate along with medium acidity. Despite the generous flavors upfront, this is a simple wine with a short finish in the end. For immediate consumption.
