Black from the core to near the rim, where a thin Burgundy color surfaces. The nose is reticent yet mineral driven with loads of gravel notes. Blackberry jam, baked blueberries and dried rosemary fill out the aromatic profile. Gentle yet broad tannins and moderate acidity fill out the palate and lead to a medium-length finish. This is a serviceable wine with Old World aromas and New World juiciness.
