This Shiraz-Grenache blend has well-integrated fruit that has benefited from 27 months of aging in 50% new French oak. Ruby in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has a nose of dried red cherry, dried mushroom and black plum with a whisper of strawberry and dried cranberry. Firm in body, the wine has some chalky notes on the midpalate and completes with a red-cherry finish.
