Smelling of sweet red plums, this wine is youthful, dense and thick as it eases onto the palate. Creosote, roasted black cherries, burnt cinnamon and forest floor make for a wild medley of flavors. Tannins are sweet and generous, and the acidity well integrated. Pleasant bottle-development notes mingle with the lingering fruit freshness. Might be best to ask for a fresher sample.
