A fresh and youthful nose of sliced green apple, cinnamon spice and tree bloom rushes out of the glass. The fresh attack races with a tart, mouthwatering sensation, and the angular acidity is pungent. This wine will show best when accompanied by food. Otherwise, the medium alcohol—notably a bit high for an Australian Riesling—works to smooth out the palate. Citrus-accented flavors are tightly coiled on the moderately concentrated midpalate, and the finish is brief. Drink this wine in its youth.
