Deeply spicy with freshly cracked black pepper spices, there are also creamy notes of toasted coconut, and baked milk chocolate on the nose. Hot and fiery in abv, this is a linebacker of a wine with oodles of midpalate muscle. This is a youthful wine and the fruit and oak are competing at this point. Luckily, the palate feel is smooth and juicy. The pronounced alcoholic strength—while overall well-balanced—might be a detractor for some.
