This wine is a brilliant, deep magenta color. The top notes are all oak, quickly followed by fruit. On the palate there is a combination of Hershey’s Cocoa, cola and Ribena that leads to a heady, confected concoction, complete with seamless tannins and soft acidity. While not profound, this is a profile that will be popular with many consumers. Drink now to late 2013.
