This aged Australian Shiraz brims with depth of flavor. Deep ruby in color, it has a nose of blackberry, vanilla baking spice, leather, dried mushroom and dried hay. On the palate the dry, full-bodied Shiraz offers additional notes of bacon fat buttressed by ripe, mellow tannin. Time has given way to a complex, refined Shiraz that could develop further with age.
