Strikingly aromatic with pronounced menthol top notes, this wine is fresh, dense and concentrated. The palate is layered with cassis and blackberry coulis scented with mint. Meanwhile, the backpalate turns sultry with damp forest floor and peat. Integrated in palate feel, the tannins are suavely crafted with a satiny texture and well-placed acidity supports the full body. The finish is a bit swift, but this wine is otherwise highly drinkable.
