Deep straw in color with gleaming reflections. There is a strong dose of sulfur dioxide on the nose. Underneath, there is tangerine, lemon zest, earth and walnut skin. The palate shows a pleasant creaminess not expected given the marked citrus aromas. Moderate acidity with mild viscosity, this wine has nice substance to the body. Its complexity is pleasing yet not profound. A faint vanilla note lingers at the end on the medium finish. Drink now to early 2014.
