This is a streamlined, elegant red, with dignified, finessed tannins and a silky palate texture. Though the aromas are muffled, the palate shows black currant, evergreen frond, freshly-turned soil and flint. The wholesome, well-knit structure is compelling. The medium-bodied palate is sleek, with brilliantly integrated tannins and perky, mouthwatering acidity. The finish is only moderate but filled with reverberating berry character. Drink now–2025.
