Smelling of Marasca cherry, grenadine and spice cake, this is an aromatic dynamo. Robust in body, with layers of fruit and high alcohol, it is a powerhouse on the palate, too. The pristine clean, red berry fruits really sing here. As the wine opens in the glass, it unfolds subtle and complementary notes of vanilla, cocoa and caramel. The tannins nudge the palate with light dryness—especially on the moderate finish, and the acidity crackles with refreshment on the back palate. Drink now–2024.
