This wine’s nose swirls with an exuberant array of ripe berry flavor. The attack follows with the same generous, berried fruit profile then pings the palate with perky acidity to give this full-bodied wine a deceptive lightness. Tart blackberry and crunchy black currant combine with peat bricks and worn leather to give this wine very good depth of character. The aromatic, medium finish is lined by suavely crafted tannins.
