Spicy and vivacious on the nose, this bold, supple red is equally gregarious on the palate. With aromas and smells of smoked meat, blackberry, grilled bread and dark chocolate, this is a compelling wine. Its palate is powerful yet disciplined with an impressive seamlessness between the elegant if dusty tannins and fine thread of backpalate acidity. This seems to be hitting its stride given the cigar box undertones. This is very nicely finessed with good complexity. Drink now–2026.
