This wine pops on the nose with wild cherry, freshly-turned soil and ganache. This gives it both approachability in its forwardness and geekiness in its terroir-driven traits. Tremendously fresh with vibrant red and black fruit flavors, the tannins are refined and the acidity fits in nicely. The palate is supremely well-balanced for such an approachable and extremely youthful wine. This is sophisticated, complex and classy while still being utterly gulpable. As the wine opens, the violet and thyme notes start to soar from the glass. Drink now–2025.
