Deep in color and flashy on the nose, this wine starts off with black cherries, roasted figs and a hint of prune. The palate is overtly youthful with fresh black fruit flavors and hard spice. As the wine opens in the glass, capsicum notes become pronounced. Gutsy, full-bodied and four-square, it’s enjoyable now but it should benefit from time in bottle. Drink now–2026.
