Showing both youthful and maturing aromas, this full-bodied wine seems to be hitting its stride both aromatically and structurally. The dried mulberry and cherry aromas are compelling on their own, and they are tastefully accented by cigar box and spicy oak. There is persistent fruit on the moderate finish. The fresh acidity is nicely off-set by lightly sticky tannins, and both work in harmony to lift the broad, nicely hefty palate. Drink now–2024.
