Pleasantly aromatic, this wine dances between freshness and maturity on the nose. It starts with black currant, old spice drawer, thyme and worn leather. The medium-bodied palate is supple and shows nice energy with fresh acidity popping into the moderate finish. The overall palate creaminess makes this moreish. Nicely mature with graciously folding tannins, this drinks well now.
