Moderate ruby in color, this youthful and nobly concentrated red is packed with red fruits that show candied top notes. The attack is at once wholesome and mouthcoating in sweet strawberries, dried cranberries and cherry preserves. Then, a noticeable, piquant alcohol kicks in. This is followed by heady balsamic flavors and a heightened impression of sweetness. The result feels surprisingly off-dry, with decidedly sweet red fruit aromas on the medium finish.
