Intense and dynamic on the nose, this wine smells of dark chocolate-covered cherries and blueberry preserves. The charged palate feels dense and viscous yet is nicely lifted by chiseled acidity and streamlined tannins. Though this is high octane, the alcohol meshes nicely into the wine. Drinking well now, it has the complexity and polish to hold in bottle for a few more years. Drink now–2025.
