Showing some notable development on the nose, this begins with aromas of cigar humidor, fallen autumn leaves and dried spices. The palate is fully matured, showing barbecued meats and dried tea leaves abscent of primary fruit character. The finish is moderate in flavor but the scruffy tannins combined with the vivacious acidity leave the palate feeling rather dry. Drink now–2023.
