Boisterous on the nose and palate and displaying succulently ripe blackberries and boysenberries, this lively, red should fly off the shelves. It’s pure, fragrant and bold on the nose, and its full-bodied palate shows good heft moderated by focused, punchy acidity and voluptuous tannins. The medium finish shows just the right amount of minerally dryness to clean up the wine without making the palate feel taut. Drink now–2025.
