This wine’s aroma and flavor profile is not particularly appealing. It smells of bramble, cooked cranberries and beets, combining with a dusty earthiness on the palate. The medium-bodied palate has moderate juiciness yet is lashed by thick, dry tannins and awkwardly contrasting, vivid acidity. There is solid concentration accompanied by good intensity, however the fruit is downright muddled. Drink now–2024.
