Fresh and vibrant on the nose, this is intensely fruit-driven. Smelling of cherry pits, boysenberries and lavender, it’s almost hedonistic in aroma. The palate follows with the same and tastes modestly complex, with earthy and spicy undertones coming into play. Generous in body and alcohol but neither bulky nor chunky, there is concerted elegance here. The quickly fading finish suggests that this would be best enjoyed over the next few years. Drink now–2024.
