Smelling of dried pomelo zest and blanched almonds, the palate takes on more fruity tones with jackfruit, star fruit and lime leaf. Expansive on the palate, elevated alcohol is readily noticeable on the attack. Happily, there is zippy acidity to align the wine, and the hint of tannin on the finish serves to tighten up the wine’s generosity. Plentiful touches of hay and earthiness show that this wine is definitely evolving from its youthful stage. Drink now–2023.
