Showing a deep mulberry to purplish hue, this wine looks beautiful in the glass. Its superfresh fruit aromas lead to flavors of mulberry and blueberry while notes of pencil ss and tar perfume the glass as the wine opens. There is an earthy, slightly feral undertone. The tannins have a touch of grip yet are broad and not clenching, and the vivid acidity is nicely refreshing. Drink now–2023.
