Understated on the nose, this pale white smells of tree flowers and white peaches. The attack is surprising in its glossy, almost sticky, palate texture. The flavor remains almost as aloof as the nose—there is some lemon zest, pomelo and green tomato all are on the very cusp-of-ripeness. The pronounced acidity keeps the light-bodied palate dancing with excitement. Well-suited to shellfish and salads with fruit-based dressings, this is a wine for early drinking. Drink now–2023.
