Brilliant gold in color, this is a very approachable and enjoyable sweet wine. Hedonistic in its honeyed, dried apricot character drizzled with marzipan, it is one of those bewitching, irresistible dessert-in-a-glass wines. Custardy, smooth and turbo-charged with flavor, this generously fruited Semillon—with discreet alcohol—has a solid finish supported by good acidity. Alas, there’s probably not quite enough acidity to get through more than a small glass. Drink now–2025.
